Amorette Casias

Interior Designer

 

As a graduate of UC Davis, Amorette has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in design with an emphasis in Interior Architecture in 2002. She was employed with Design House for two years and has been an Interior Design Consultant for a Commercial/Residential design firm in Sacramento for the last 7 yrs. Working for a full service design firm, Amorette has gained experience and advance knowledge in Interior Design, Space Planning, Construction Documents and administration, Project Management and administration, furniture planning and supply for small to medium size commercial projects and high end residential. She has also gained knowledge and experience in estimating, specifying, purchasing and installing flooring materials using commercial products.

 

While employed for a full service design firm and flooring contractor, Amorette had the opportunity to travel to a carpet mill in Virginia to see carpet nylon fabrication and extraction and how it is tufted into commercial broadloom carpet and carpet tile. She has also had the opportunity to travel to Chicago, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles and Italy to advance her knowledge in design /furniture products, specifications and details. She has a keen sense of design and elegance that she hopes to continue to incorporate in all future projects.

 

Aside from her passion for design, she also has a passion for traveling, hiking and spending time with family and close friends.
